Pink Sparrow partnered with Kendo to design, fabricate, and install a pair of complementary candy-themed booths for Sephora SMC, handling every aspect from concept to completion. Drawing inspiration from Fenty Beauty and Fenty Hair’s color palettes and brand stories, we created an immersive experience that showcases exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
For the Fenty Beauty booth, we created a chocolate shop theme to represent the inclusive range of foundation shades. Custom 3D-printed branded truffles, decorated in the brand’s signature colors, were artfully displayed alongside the full shade range of Fenty Soft’Lit foundation inside a faux chocolate display case. We also crafted branded chocolates with shade-matched wrappers as giveaways. Backlit custom shelving with LED details showcased products spanning the Fenty Beauty, Skin and Fragrance universe, and acrylic tubes filled with Hydra Huez skin tint swatches added a playful touch. Every element of the booth was styled with precision, from product displays to the creation of branded candy bags, kitted dessert-themed gratis kits, gift baskets, and candy-shop-meets-Rihanna staff uniforms.
For the Fenty Hair booth, we translated the product packaging’s textured patterns into CNC-milled wood panel details. Screens in custom dimensional frames were thoughtfully integrated to play campaign videos, offering an educational element that supported the brand launch. Illuminated shelving showcased the full Fenty Hair product line which we prop styled, and functional cabinetry below served as gratis storage and integrated trash receptacles for testers disposal. To emphasize the candy shop theme, we filled oversized jars with carefully sourced candies that corresponded to Fenty Hair’s RepleniCore-5 ingredients, created custom labels, and branded lollipop giveaways.
Beyond design and fabrication, Pink Sparrow managed installation, prop styling, and strike, ensured a flawless execution. This project exemplifies the extraordinary level of detail we brought to the activation, exceeding our typical scope to deliver a fully immersive brand experience.
